The champions will encounter Juventus at the San Siro on Friday (1845 GMT) with ground for the first time since October after last weekend's 2-2 draw at Fiorentina enabled AS Roma.
"I am only concentrating on the match," he said. "I know only that we need points for a place in the Champions League and the team will go onto the pitch with that aim.
"A meeting with another big team is always exciting. But even in the minds of the 'old guard' I believe that they are only interested in doing well for our position in the table.
"Besides the choice of players and the formation, I am interested in the way we will perform.
"I want to see a determined team, the best Juve. We must confirm the signs of improvement we have shown recently and improve our standing, at a time when few matches remain."
Jose Mourinho might be very careful to longlast that record in what will be his 100th match in charge of the Serie A champions.
