Real Madrid  is looking forward to returning its position in points  after expensing  3 crucial   points against Barcelona in  the field of El Clasico last Saturday in La Liga. Los Blancos will play Almeria at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos with the sole ambition of winning.

Punishment of Real Madrid Against Barcelona

The defeat in Clasico was painful to taste for Real Madrid on Saturday. Los Blancos were comfortably contained by Barcelona  comfortably scored 2-0 that make the Madrids defeat on home soil. That was the loss of  a fourth cumulative  encounter against their great competitors.

Though his praise of Barca was underpinned with a belief that the Catalans may yet slip up, Even Cristiano Ronaldo  was  almost resigned after the weekend’s loss. Portuguese play maker Cristiano Ronaldo said to the media,

“Barcelona played at a much higher level than us, but we have to keep our head high, because there are still seven games remaining,” he also explained to the press. “As long as we can still win the league, then we must not talk of failure. We must believe that it is possible. I am a professional and will not give up.”

Midfielder Xabi Alonso explained things clearly in a pre-match press conference. The Spaniard stated:

“We want to take things slowly but we don’t depend on ourselves anymore. Almeria are tricky opponents and many teams have dropped points at their stadium. We don’t want to be part of this list. We are thinking about winning the match. That’s all that is on our minds.”

Coach Manuel Pellegrini is tolarationg increasing pressure because of  following that result.

He explained “The work that Pellegrini has done in the league is outrageously good,” . “Seventy-seven points is outrageous. I wish him all the best but whether or not he continues is up to Madrid.”
